Regtech firm hires marketing and compliance experts to drive continued growth
(Des Moines, Iowa – Feb. 12, 2025) – ViClarity today announced the appointment of Katie Ferrell and Koral Hull to key roles within the fast-growing regtech and compliance consulting firm’s executive bench.
Katie Ferrell, ViClarity VP of Compliance Services
Joining ViClarity from United Bankers’ Bank in Minnesota, Ferrell will serve as Vice President, Compliance Services. Ferrell’s well-rounded governance, risk and compliance (GRC) background spans all manner of functions, from compliance consulting to audits and risk assessments. She has dedicated her career to financial services, beginning with her role as head teller for a Mississippi commercial bank in 2003. Since that time, Ferrell has held a variety of positions within the bank and credit union GRC space, fostering what she describes as a holistic, yet practical, approach to the alignment of risk and strategy.
Ferrell is a graduate of the Barret Graduate School of Banking and maintains several GRC certifications, including the CRCM, CAMS, CRVPM, CBP and NCCO. In addition to leading ViClarity’s Compliance Consulting services, she will also direct the firm’s Credit Union League Compliance Support and Audit Services teams.
“The financial services industry has fueled my career, giving me the opportunity to serve as a reliable, authentic and accessible compliance guide,” said Ferrell. “It’s my honor to join ViClarity in helping the hard-working, passionate GRC pros they work alongside navigate the fast-moving and ever-evolving risk and compliance landscape.”
Koral Hull, ViClarity VP of Sales & Marketing
Assuming the role of Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Hull joins ViClarity from Pitchly, where she served most recently as head of operations. Having discovered her talent for optimizing processes as an electromechanical technician in the United States Air Force, Hull has spent the last 15 years building on that foundation over a series of challenging roles. In addition to mastering the enhancement of workflows, she is also an established contributor to the improvement of client value and experience, working with a variety of teams to make it easier, more efficient and more enjoyable to engage with tech-based products. As such, she is an ideal fit for ViClarity’s strategic growth and client experience initiatives.
No stranger to the software as a service (SaaS) ecosystem, Hull understands what it takes to scale a technology platform with a client-centric mission.
“Across my career, I’ve found that continuous improvement, innovation and impactful results certainly support long-term success, but they are meaningless without client delight,” said Hull, whose diverse professional roles include a mixture of client success, business development and growth operations. “Like the purpose-driven organizations it serves, ViClarity fosters enviable relationships with its clients, from key decision makers to super users. It’s the perfect place for me to contribute.”
ViClarity Global CEO John "Ogie" Sheehy shared his excitement about the addition of the two female leaders to the ViClarity executive team: “Experienced trailblazers with this kind of expertise and enthusiasm for GRC is a rare find, and we are fortunate to add two such leaders to our team. We are thrilled each sees ViClarity as the optimal place to both contribute and grow their expertise, and we look forward to watching them help our clients achieve great things for their organizations.”
