First Community Trust to Join the AMC Family of Companies

DES MOINES, IA – Affiliates Management Company (AMC), the holding company for the Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL), today announces that First Community Trust, N.A. (FCT), will join the AMC family of companies.
DES MOINES, IA – Affiliates Management Company (AMC), the holding company for the Iowa Credit Union League (ICUL), today announces that First Community Trust, N.A. (FCT), will join the AMC family of companies. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in early 2019 and is subject to shareholder and regulatory approval. FCT is a nationally chartered trust company that delivers trust, investment, retirement and estate planning services to Iowa credit unions, their members and others in the communities served. FCT’s headquarters will remain in Dubuque, Iowa. The company’s executive leadership and all staff will remain in place.

AMC’s family of companies today serve consumers and businesses nationally in the areas of cybersecurity training, diversity and inclusion initiatives, regulatory compliance and legislative affairs. The addition of FCT’s services to AMC will support the company’s mission to improve the financial lives of consumers.

Details of the acquisition have not been disclosed at this time. Following the completion and approval of the transaction, further information will be announced.
